Today is March 31st which means that it's my oldest friend (as in the one I've know the longest) birthday. So happy birthday to you, G! I just wanted to dedicate this post to you so here it is. I personally do not celebrate Easter, at least nothing more than having Easter Egg Hunts, but since Easter's almost here, I figured I might as well plan some outfits for Easter Sunday, even if they're not for me.  And even if you don't celebrate Easter, maybe this could be spring inspiration for you. :)

New Year's Resolutions - March Check-Up

 

 

I'm the kind of person who loves making lists of things whether it's to-do lists, shopping lists and what not.  I just love lists.  So before I rang in the New Year, I made a list of resolutions.  These usually never get me anywhere, but after nearly three months, I think that it's a good time to check on these resolutions so some of them might actually happen by the end of the year.

Current Love: Hair Bows!

A trend that I've been really loving recently are hair bows.  As a kid, I'm sure my mom would've loved to put one in my hair everyday for school, perfecting my image of a little schoolgirl, but I guess it never ended up happening, at least not often enough for my teenage self to be satisfied when looking back on it.

DIY: Taylor Swift's shirt in "22" - Not a Lot Going On at the Moment

I am a ginormous Taylor Swift fan - I think she's simply amazing.  As some of you might already know, her music video for one of my favourite songs - that totally describes me at the moment - from her latest album, Red, called "22" was released a week or so ago and it's so quirky and fun.  One of the things that I loved the most about it was the wardrobe, especially the Ashish shirt she wore at the very beginning.  Unfortunately, that shirt costs about $895 or so.  WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY SO NOT IN MY BUDGET (and I doubt that they are in most people's budgets).  So I decided to DIY it.  And maybe you do, too.  If you do, stick around to see how.

As you could probably already tell, I'm a huge fashion geek and I'm very, very proud of it.  Since I only started this blog a few days ago, Fashion Week already wrapped up, but that's not going to stop me from writing about it.

That was what one of my best friends squealed when she ran up to me in the thrift shop while we were shopping.  There was something about that moment that kept making me go back to it, relive it.  Today, I realised why.
