It’s getting so
nice out where I am and the weather is just absolutely lovely. Spring has
decided to come after all. I decided to take out this lilac faux leather skirt
that I got back in September but haven’t worn until now. My friends and I
decided to go to dinner that one day and since we were already in the area, we
went to Urban Outfitters and my best friend and I decided to get matching
skirts.
Jacket: Mom's Closet | Top: Urban Outfitters
| Skirt: Urban Outfitters | Cardigan: Vintage | Necklace: Laura | Shoes: G. H. Bass
I paired it with this other ivory lace crop top I got from
Urban just last week, actually and it’s such a lovely little thing with a
halter neckline that covers just enough skin combined with the skirt. To add a
bit of light to the outfit, I added a simple pearl necklace and my mom's cream corduroy jacket. For
shoes, I just opted for some peach and ivory canvas wedges because I seriously need the height (I'm only 5'3 or so and my legs are unfortunately pretty short as well).
I’m not going to lie, I’m pretty happy with this outfit. I
wore this last week on Mother’s Day whilst at the tulip festival with my family
when we just had a great time frolicking around (for lack of a better word) and
taking pictures. All in all, it was a pretty nice day with the family.
Again, I’m not going to lie, I’m probably going to be
wearing this tonight again, but a more dressed down version, to go see a play at my middle school with a few old
classmates. But shh, no one needs to know.
Though I’ve seen most of them quite recently, I’m still
pretty excited and almost a bit giddy at the thought of seeing them again, especially
in the place where we’d shared so many amazing memories over the two years we’d
spent together. I’ll let you guys know how that turns out in this week’s Sunday
Funday, but just for the record, I have high hopes for this play/reunion-type
thing.

aha I'm only 5'4 so I totally get what you mean about needing a bit more height! This outfit is just so pretty and perfect plus I am completely in love with your skirt!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Charlotte. :) I never would've guessed that you're only 5'4 because you look so tall in your blog photos. - J
