PROM: Shoes Galore | Shoe Inspiration 2015

Hi there! People talk a lot about finding the perfect dress to wear to prom, so much that shoes don't really get any attention at all. While they might not be as important when you're wearing a longer dress, having nice shoes for a shorter one or a long one with a high-low hemline is essential. I curated a list of my favourite shoes to go with that special dress of yours.

Forever 21 Faux Suede Criss-Cross Pumps - $36

I just adore everything about this shoe. The glamorous buckle, the classy taupe suede, the thick straps... They're just so beautiful.

New Look Monochrome 2-Part Heeled Shoes - $43

You see a lot of pointed shoes, but you don't see many with the pointed vamps (if you have no idea what a vamp is, this will help). Overall, these are a classic shoe, but the little details are a nice, modern twist.

ModCloth With Haute a Doubt Heels - $45

These are a really sweet cream pair of heels that are simple enough to go with whatever dress you have. It could suit any girly dress just fine.

ASOS PENSIVE Pointed Heels - $64

Holographic things are just so darn pretty, so I couldn't help but add a pair of holographic shoes to the mix. It's a classic silhouette but with an edgy colour.

Topshop RUBY Snake Effect Heels - $70

Heels don't have to be crazy to be make you feel absolutely amazing. The snakeskin is an unexpected touch on the minimalist Zara heel silhouette that will complement just about any dress.

Zara Combination Heeled Sandals - $80

The green and blues make this pair of shoes such a striking one that could is definitely a showstopper.

Topshop LORETTA Feather Platforms - $85

These platforms are definitely on the quirky side and they kind of remind me of something Aria Montgomery (from Pretty Little Liars) might wear.

Zara Fringed High Heels - $100

Fringe is so big this season and these shoes are just so amazing and attention-grabbing. I love them.

Nasty Gal Gridlock Cut-Out Heels - $120

These are great if you're looking for an edgier shoe, but don't want to go too crazy.

GUESS Rabbit Pointed Toe Pumps - $126

The floral print on these pumps is so fun and perfect for a girlier dress.

Steve Madden Jilly Platform Heels - $128

I find that platforms are always more comfortable than heels, plus you get the extra height, so it's a win-win. These are a nice and chunkier version of your typical Mary Jane silhouette.

Nasty Gal Secret Valentine Vegan Leather Platforms - $134

I'm absolutely obsessed with the baby pink colour of these shoes and I can totally imagine them being worn with just about any dress.

Which pair was your favourite? Are you going to prom this year? Would you wear a long or a short dress? Leave your comments and share your thoughts below!

Thank you so much for reading!
