Sweater: Banana Republic | Jeans: DIY | Shoes: Target | Necklace: Topshop
For this first look, I wanted to go for a bit more of a polished look. I guess that polished might not be the right word considering that I'm sporting some ripped jeans, but I think you get my point. Maybe.
To balance out the madness of my distressed polka dot jeans, I went for an oversized cream sweater that I got on a ridiculous sale at Banana Republic. To finish off the look, I cuffed my jeans and slipped on the sneakers. Cuffing your jeans right above the ankle really gives this a kind of quirky look that I haven't seen around when it comes to these sneakers.
Graphic Tee: Dad's Closet/DIY | T-Shirt: Old Navy | Shorts: Dynamite | Belt: Vietnam | Shoes: Target
For this second look, I wanted to go with something a bit more edgy. I layered my dad's huge graphic tee that I ripped up and studded over top of my handy dandy white t-shirt. I tucked the front into a pair of striped denim shorts and topped it all off with the sneakers.
Adding even more edge to an already edgy pair of shoes is the way to go if you want to just go all out. And sometimes, you really just have to go all out.
T- Shirt: Old Navy | Dress: Gap | Hoodie: Garage | Socks: Mom's Closet | Shoes: Target
This was a girlier take on the sneakers. I paired the chunky black shoes with an innocent white eyelet dress layered overtop of a white t-shirt. To make this outfit a bit more fall, I slipped on some striped socks and tied a knit hoodie around my waist.
I love how the the "main" pieces (the dress and the shoes) are so different and I think it's pretty unexpected to put the two together, right?
