3 Ways to Wear: Flowy Pants

Hi there! Before I get into today's post, I just wanted to let you guys know that on Monday, September 9th, the url of this blog will be changed to stylegeneris.blogspot.com. If you want to learn more about the change, check out my blog post here.

Last week, I wrote a post all about my love for flowy pants. In that post, I told you guys that I'd be doing a "3 Ways to Wear" post on how to style these lovely pants, so here it is! These are actually photos of clothes I own, unlike my other posts. Enjoy!

The first way I like to wear these pants is with just a very basic top. A white t-shirt, a black or grey one... The possibilities are endless. Try to pick a neutral colour if your pants are super crazy, or a complimentary one if you're going for a more bold look.

For my pants, they're a navy and white paisley print pair, so I paired them with a black long-sleeved top that I had in the back of my closet.

Another way to wear these pants is with a neutral printed top. (Sorry I look so glum in the photo, haha.) Because the print of my pants weren't too outrageous, I went for a simple and black and white striped top to add a little something something to the outfit.

You could try this out with your pants with a polka dot top, or any top that has a pretty subtle or simple print on it. You don't want to overpower your pants! But if you own pants that are a solid colour, feel free to have fun with your top!

For this last outfit, I wanted to incorporate some layering, so I tucked a lace tank top into my pants and thre on a comfy knit cardigan to add a fall touch to the outfit. Look cozy, don't you think?

How do you like to wear your flowy pants? Do you own any? Or are you not a fan of the trend? Please let me know in a comment down below and share your thoughts!

    1. Thanks Zoe! I was a bit worried about putting me (and the pants!) out in the blogosphere at first because they seemed kind of wacky, but thank you for the warm responses!
