Pretty Little Liars Fashion Recap: Now You See Me, Now You Don't

Hi there! Tuesday was the PLL summer finale and let me tell you - it was intense. Quite a few questions got answered, which was surprising for PLL, but the answers left me (and a good chunk of the Twitterverse) in shock. Not because the twists were really that shocking (in my opinion), but they were some quite big cliffhangers that I have to wait until October 22nd to get some answers. Not that I'm expecting to because, let's face it, it's Pretty Little Liars.

You probably didn't come here to hear me ramble, so let's get into this week's fashion!

This week, the outfits were pretty casual because the girls spent most of the episode running around Ravenswood on the weekend (I believe). That's great for us students (unless you're not one...) because you can get tons of outfit ideas from what they're wearing and you could actually wear them to school and not look overdressed. Like this outfit. Not that I don't love it, it's just a bit sheer up top for school.

Aria

For once, Aria's outfit was pretty casual for school, which you don't see everyday. Or every week, I suppose. She wore this adorable little ensemble that consisted of a pink dress with a lace overlay and a matching white and pink knit varsity cardigan. The chunky statement necklace brightened up an otherwise boring and plain outfit. So guys, don't underestimate the power of accessories!

To recreate this look, you could either find dupes of the pieces she's wearing, or you could pick out your favourite dress, an oversized cardigan in the same colour (AND goes well with it), and a funky necklace. If that combination doesn't work for you, just think of this as another easy, go-to outfit formula (dress + cardigan + statement necklace = outfit!!!) for those mornings when you're running late.

Hanna

Hanna stayed cool and comfortable in this outfit, but stayed true to her style, which can be a hard thing to do when you're trying to stay comfy. She paired a printed top with a moto-styled jacket, deep purple jeans, a contrasting yellow crossbody, and black boots. You could easily recreate this look with items in your closet, but if you're looking to wear this to school, replace the bright school bus yellow crossbody with your backpack! You'll look effortlessly put together, which is always a good thing. Well, unless you want to look like you put a ton of time into putting together your outfit. ;)

Emily

I don't know about you, but I'm in love with Emily's graphic tee. It's a bit more subtle than your usual smiley top, but still packs as much punch. I just think it's kind of ironic given the situation they're in and they pretty much have nothing to smile about, haha.

To recreate this effortlessly cool look, grab your favourite graphic tee, a (varsity) jacket, bright coloured jeans, and sneakers, and you're good to go! I love how the red is such a bold pop of colour in this outfit and it's a quick and easy way to make a statement.

Spencer

Even in comfort, Spencer's quintessential style still shines through, no matter what clothes she's sporting. She wore a cream cardigan over top a printed cami, some blue denim, and a neckerchief-type thing. Kind of reminds me of sailors, actually.

To recreate her look, pick your favourite neutral cardigan, belt it, and pop on your favourite blue jeans. If you're not a fan of the whole sailor look, replace her neckerchief with a patterned scarf. It's a really simple, but polished look.

So that was the last PLL fashion recap until October rolls around...

What did you think of the summer finale? Were you shocked that ____ turned out to be A? And that a certain (spoiler alert!) someone someone isn't actually dead? Please leave me a comment down below sharing your thoughts! We could exchange A theories if you're into that stuff. :)

Thanks for reading!
